Abstract

This paper explores the external and internal factors influencing individuals in the prevention of cyberbullying. The study identifies various psychological mechanisms and protective strategies associated with both the individual and their environment. External factors include the presence of anonymity on the internet, accessibility of digital devices, and social influences such as peer pressure and media exposure. Internal factors involve cognitive, emotional, and motivational aspects of the individual's psyche, including emotional regulation, self-esteem, and awareness of internet safety practices. By examining these factors, the research aims to develop effective intervention programs to enhance the information and psychological safety of the youth, thereby mitigating the risks and impact of cyberbullying.
