COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT APPROACH AS AN EFFECTIVE LANGUAGE TEACHING METHOD

The problem presented in this paper was to discover the role of input in second language acquisition (SLA). A brief review of literature on the definition of input and Krashen’s Input Hypothesis in SLA was conducted. Through a review of the literature, it becomes evident that input plays an important role in SLA.
